Not Your Peach

This 3D project is derived from one of my illustrations. Not Your Peach is a panoramic narrative illustration that depicts an absurd conflict centered around a “peach of immortality.” In the image, a human man wearing a monkey mask attempts to infiltrate the territory of apes in order to steal the peach—a fruit that symbolizes resources, power, and identity. He imagines that he can blend into the species, become one of them, and even justify his act of appropriation.

I translated the human figure disguised in a monkey costume into a miniature figurine. Its scale and proportions are inspired by Japanese Sofubi figures, adding a playful quality to an humorous character. I also introduced new details not present in the original illustration, such as zipper running down the back of the costume and exposed monkey butt, further emphasizing the tension between disguise and revelation.
